Welcome back to KUMB's latest transfer rumour round-up - five stories from around the web featuring players potentially on West Ham's shopping list, or current Hammers on the radar of other clubs...

Mateus Fernandes

West Ham United have slapped an £80million price tag on prize asset Mateus Fernandes.

With the Hammers in desperate need to recoup lost funds following the club's relegation to the second division, Fernandes was always the player most likely to be in demand. And according to The Times, West Ham have placed an £80million fee on his head - which, while appearing a little steep, doesn't appear to have put off Arsenal or Manchester United, both of whom have emerged as potential destinations for the young Portuguese midfielder.

West Ham are showing interest in young Troyes playmaker Martin Adeline, say the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old midfielder played a key role in helping Troyes win promotion to the French top flight last season and his performances have prompted interest from the Hammers, who are seeking a replacement for Mateus Fernandes who is expected to leave the club this summer. Adeline, who has represented France at Under 20 level is thought to be one of the last players recommended by the outgoing Head of Recruitment Max Hahn.

Taty Castellanos

West Ham are reported to be keen to retain the services of striker Taty Castellanos, who has reportedly been told he will not be made available for transfer this summer.

The Argentina international arrived in east London at the beginning of January before going on to score seven goals - six in the Premier League, one in the FA Cup - in 22 appearances. And while the likes of Fulham have registered their interest in taking the 27-year-old, West Ham want Castellanos to lead the attack as the club attempts to make an instant return to the Premier League.

Frankfurt's new head coach, Adi Hütter is said to have spoken in favour of signing West Ham's young French midfielder Soungoutou Magassa.

Not the first time, the SGE has shown interest in Magassa - Frankfurt were West Ham's key rivals for his signature last summer. The Bundesliga outfit are set to test West Ham's resolve to hang on to the talented 21-year-old, who made 26 appearances for West Ham following his move from Monaco last August.

Max Hahn

West Ham United's German Head of Recruitment, whose role has become increasingly limited in recent months will leave the club in the coming days.

It is reported the Hammers are looking for a replacement with a deeper knowledge of the Championship, as they plot an instant return to the Premier League. Hahn has been employed in the role since the departure of Technical Director Tim Steidten, whom Hann joined West Ham to work alongside.
