Academy graduate Kaelan Casey has joined League One Stevenage on a season-long loan, with just hours of the transfer window remaining.
The 21-year-old centre-back has previously enjoyed loan spells with Leyton Orient and Swansea City, for whom he made a total of 29 appearances last season.He also appeared against Stevenage in West Ham's first outing of pre-season back on 22 July.
Casey, who made his senior debut in a 3-1 win against Luton Town in May 2024 has made a total of three appearances for West Ham's first team.
Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to sign a replacement central defender ahead of this evening's deadline to cover Casey's departure to The Boro.
