West Ham United have added eight new faces to Nuno Espirito Santo's squad since the summer transfer window opened back in July.

While the last of those - left back Adama Boiro, who is joining the Hammers on loan from Bilbao - is awaiting ratification, the club have confirmed seven new faces plus converting a previous loan deal into a permanent arrangement.

The new players we welcome into the club this summer - in their order of arrival - are as follows...


Joel Veltman (#34)



The experienced defender moved to West Ham United on a free transfer from Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion on 6 August. His one-year contract contains an option for a second season, should all parties agree.


Arne Engels (#7)



Signed from Celtic for a Championship record fee of £22million, the Belgian midfielder was unveiled as a Hammer four days after Veltman. He has been introduced to fill the void created by the departure of Mateus Fernandes. Big shoes indeed to fill.


Manor Solomon (#10)



Next through the 'In' door was winger Manor Solomon from Tottenham. The Israeli player switched form north to east London on the same day as Engels, as the Hammers finally began to make serious moves in the market. £5million was enough to prise him from White Hart Lane.


Joel Piroe (#9)



On 19 August, the Dutch striker arrived from Leeds United on a season-long loan with the option to make the deal permanent and a notable record in the Championship, where he is expected to help Taty Castellanos lead the line. Early signs have been promising.


Divine Mukasa (#14)



Back home with West Ham, where his career began at the age of five and where he remained until he was snapped up by Manchester City in 2023, the attacking midfielder is another charged with unlocking stubborn opposition defences this season. As he has already demonstrated to devastating effect, he knows where the goal is too.


Edvin Austbo (#35)



On the penultimate day of the transfer window, West Ham's pursuit of the Norwegian Under 21 winger finally reached fruition as Austbo arrived in east London in a deal worth ITRO £15million. Raw but eager to progress, he could be just the kind of signing to lift bums off seats this season.


Morato (#5)



Nottingham Forest defender Felipe Rodrigues da Silva - aka 'Morato' - was the first deadline day signing, arriving on loan from Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan. At 25, he has experience in both Portuguese and English top tiers which should stand him in good stead for the trials and tribulations ahead.


Adama Boiro (#TBC)



His move awaiting confirmation from West Ham at time of writing, the Spanish left back is the final transfer to be completed during the window. He moves from Atletico Bilbao on loan for the 2026/27 season with, once again, an option to make the deal permanent.


Keibar Lamadrid (#21)



And finally, Keibar Lamadrid - who arrived at the club last season on loan - was the ninth senior player to be handed a permanent contract by the club this summer. The midfielder/winger agreed a two-year contract, tying him to the club until 2028.
